Craft studio

Hellloooooo peeps, I'm sorry I don't blog enough but I do on facebook and instagram so follow me there too for regular updates :)

Well a few days ago we had an Open Studios event at our complex and it gave me an incentive to hurry and get my studio all decorated and more organised and apart from one corner where I have a clothes rail, I think I did pretty well especially with making the hanging decorations :) let me know what you think and join my facebook page at little miss crafty and my instagram which I am always on as littlemisscrafty

Making awesome pagemarkers !

Hey, this is a really easy and brilliant project that everyone can do and you can make loads and loads :)

Pagemarkers !

1.  Ok so first get some thin card and cut into shapes roughly 2inches long and 1inch wide.

 2.  Paint patterns on these in acrylics or gouache/watercolour paint.

3.  When dry turn over and mark out a tongue shape with a 5mm gap at the top and on both sides for strength.

4.  Use ! mark a book your reading or journal pages, use in scrapbooking ...uses are endless and so are the designs, as I make more I will post here, on my facebook and on instagram @littlemisscrafty follow me on instagram for regular pics :)

Egg-citing Easter !! :D...sorry

 

Hey hey peeps.  Easter is coming and I've had a little go at some eggs this year...may do a few more in the next few days but this is what I've done so far. I used acrylic paint and plastic eggs, which were split in half so you can put sweets or toys in etc ..  So I painted them with a base coat of white then painted them in pastel colours.  One I've painted with a union jack, crackle glaze, I've added ribbon and flat back pearls, gold leaf metal to another, stickers and then ribbon with crystal buckle clasp and mini crown :)  I want to do some shabby chic style ones so stay tuned :)

Birthday post :)

Well it's my birthday today and I spent it in my awesome studio making lots of cool stuff to write tutorials on for my ebook that I'm working on for all you lovely peeps :) ( if you want to keep up to date then like my facebook page as I update there mostly) here are a few pics of what I have been getting up to this week, will do a proper post later this week :) xxx

 

 

 

 

Free Valentine's images for my lovely peeps :)

Hey you...Here it is, not just one image but a few others to help with your Valentine's Day creations.  The main one is my Retro Doll design then a word and some shapes, you can use these as embroidery patterns or print them out and trace onto nice paper and colour in to make cards or tags :) 
Just click on image and drag to desktop..
